Building Sustainable & Climate Resilient Food System in District Charsadda

In response to the growing challenges posed by climate change, this project focuses on building a resilient agriculture sector in District Charsadda. Over a 4-month period, we are working closely with local farmers to develop robust food supply chains and introduce sustainable farming practices.

Supported by the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), the initiative provides capacity building and training on climate-smart agriculture. This includes water conservation techniques, crop diversification, and the use of drought-resistant seeds.

Aligning with SDG 13 (Climate Action), the project not only secures the livelihoods of the farming community but also ensures long-term food security for the region despite unpredictable weather patterns.
